- The only Sportster to support Flash ROM is the Sportster Vi with
- DSVD 28.8, and of course, it's the most expansive. I haven't seen them in
- any stores, but I'd guess a price of around $300. These are the voice
- over data models, and are currenlty only availible as internals. The
- Sportster Vi is quite a bit cheaper, around $225, it supports voicemail,
- but not voice over data, and not FlashROM. Then there's the regular
- Sportster, at the moment this is the only Sportster running 33.6 v.34,
- although I'm sure USR is working on similar upgrades for the Vi and Vi
- with DSVD models. The regular Sportsters are about $175-$200. The
- Sportster Si models are just plain crap and should be avoided at all cost.
- These are hardly even "USR" modems since they're based on a Rockwell Glue
- 'n Go chipset, and worse yet, they're based on the Rockwell RPI Glue 'n Go
- chipset instead of the regular one.
